The captain of the UAE national team, Khaled Al-Junaibi, expressed his great happiness with the achievement and said: “Our leadership taught us the first place, which is always our motto, even if we did not succeed in previous tournaments, and winning the West Asian Championship represents a great morale and motivation, before the World Cup qualifiers, the month of Ramadan.” Next, this tournament will be a starting point for UAE rugby at the global level.”
