The Karate Federation reveals the working committees in the "World Cup - Dubai"

The President of the UAE and Asian Karate Federations, First Vice President of the International Federation, Major General Nasser Al-Razouki, revealed the names of the Higher Organizing Committee and the working committees in the Men's and Women's World Cup, which will be hosted by Dubai from 16 to 21 November.

This came in a press conference held at the Karate Federation headquarters in Dubai, and was attended by the President of the UAE and Asian Karate Federations, the First Vice President of the International Federation, Major General Nasser Abdul Razzaq Al-Razouki, members of the Game Federation, and representatives of the local media.


The Higher Organizing Committee is chaired by Major General Al Razouki, and includes Secretary General of the Dubai Sports Council Saeed Hareb as Vice President, Secretary General of the Karate Federation Rashid Abdul Majeed as Tournament Director, and Assistant Secretary General of the Karate Federation Hamid Shamis as General Coordinator.


The Supreme Organizing Committee includes a representative of the cooperating and partner organizations in the organization, namely: the Dubai Sports Council, the Hamdan Sports Complex, the host of the event, the Dubai Police General Command, the Unified Ambulance, the Supreme Authority for Emergencies and Crises, the Dubai Health Authority, and the Emirates Youth Foundation "Takatof Program". , and Dubai Media Corporation, the official carrier of the tournament, as well as a representative of the Mohammed Omar Bin Haid Holding Group, the strategic sponsor, the last of which was the identification of 25 sub-committees that undertake organizational tasks.


Al-Razouki said in a press statement: "The tournament is being held for the first time in the region, and represents an important addition to the country's balance in hosting major international events. The World Cup has a speciality in terms of the participation of Arab champions of historical achievements, especially the recent winners of the Tokyo Olympics."


He added: "We are working as a supreme organizing committee to put in place all the arrangements that guarantee the event of the tournament in the best way possible, in line with the successes of the UAE's hosting of world events, while emphasizing that the Dubai World Cup is unprecedented in the history of the World Cup."


He concluded: "We are fully prepared to organize the event, during which all controls, precautionary measures and health protocols approved by the relevant authorities in the international community will be applied."
