Inauguration of the first "Badil" stadium in Fujairah
The Tennis Club in Fujairah opened the first padel tennis courts in the emirate under the patronage of Sheikh Dr. Rashid bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Chairman of the Fujairah Culture and Media Authority.
The opening of the stadiums was attended by Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad bin Saif Al Sharqi, President of the Emirates Federation for Body Building and Physical Strength, Abdul Ghafour Bahrzyan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Fujairah Tennis Club, Engineer Ali Qassem, Director General of the Fujairah Natural Resources Corporation, and a number of dignitaries.
The opening included a speech by the Chairman of the Fujairah Tennis Club, in addition to honoring the athletes participating in the friendly match in which Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad bin Saif Al Sharqi participated.
Abdul Ghafoor Bahrozyan stressed that the main objective of establishing a stadium for paddle tennis in the Tennis Club in Fujairah is to promote the game and provide it to those who want this sport in the emirate, rather than incurring the trouble of traveling to play this game in remote places.
Bahrozyan added: All sporting events that are implemented in the club are subject to the conditions and controls of social distancing and the application of precautionary measures.
