Saudi Arabia with full marks in World Cup qualifiers

Today, Saudi Arabia took a big step towards reaching the 2022 World Cup finals by achieving its third victory in the decisive round of the Asian qualifiers for the global event, after defeating its guest, Japan, one of its main competitors, on the two qualifying cards directly, with a score of 1-0.

At the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah, the Saudi team dealt a moral blow to its Japanese counterpart by defeating it with a single goal scored by substitute Firas Al-Braikan (71), adding to his opponent his second loss in this round after the first surprise at home against Oman with the same result.

The Saudi team raised its score to 9 points, awaiting the match between Australia and Oman later, while Japan's balance is at 3 points.
