It was in the La Liga match against Sevilla on September 19 that Real Sociedad's Alexander Isak limped off the pitch after just 39 minutes of play, with a thigh injury.

There and then there were fears that he would be gone for a long time and thus miss the World Cup qualifiers against Kosovo and Greece.

But Isak was selected in the national team captain Janne Andersson's national team - and he is ready for games.

- When you get injured, you always prepare for the worst, but now it was not like that and I have mostly been focused on my rehab, Isak says at a press conference.

Given the absence due to injury, Isak has only made a half-hour long run-in against Getafe since that match against Sevilla, there are some question marks for the 22-year-old's form.

- It was nice to be able to jump into that last match.

It's hard to say anything about the form but it feels good and I was not gone too long and should not have lost so much, says Isak.

Now a meeting against Kosovo awaits in the same arena where Isak scored in the victory match against Spain.

- It was very nice.

You have missed the atmosphere here at Friends and at home.

After the great match against Spain, things went significantly worse against Greece.

This is of course something Isak and the national team have learned from.

- We take with us that it was not good enough in Greece, but we have a reference point in the Spain match where we do very well so it is important that we look at it and try to emulate it, says Isak.

- There are three points that apply, the striker states.
