Maximum number of spectators by utilizing the "vaccine / test package" that proves that the vaccine has been vaccinated and that the test was negative in the semi-finals of the soccer and J League Cup held at Toyota Stadium in Aichi Prefecture. The government's technical demonstration was carried out.

This is the first time such an initiative has been made at a professional sports event in Japan.

In the J.League, in areas where priority measures such as declaration of emergency and prevention of spread have been issued, the guideline stipulates that the maximum number of spectators will be 10,000 as a transitional measure for about one month after the cancellation. In cooperation with the technical demonstration of the "vaccine / test package" conducted by J.League, the match will be held with spectators exceeding the upper limit.

The first match was Nagoya Grampus vs FC Tokyo in the J League Cup semifinals held at Toyota Stadium in Aichi Prefecture on the 6th.



On the 6th, the number of spectators for those who have passed more than 2 weeks since the second vaccination and those who received a negative certificate after undergoing a PCR test at a medical institution from 3 days before the match date to the day of the match. Apart from the upper limit of 10,000 seats, we have secured seats for about 1800 people.

At the venue, a dedicated booth was set up, and the visiting supporters entered the stadium after presenting their vaccination certificate.



A teenage man in Ichinomiya City, Aichi Prefecture, said, "I couldn't come without this package because I was afraid of infection with the new corona. I want to continue using it."



According to the Nagoya Grampus, 730 tickets for exclusive seats were sold for the match on the 6th.



This is the first time that the government has demonstrated technology at a professional sports event in Japan.
