Some time ago I told you about my fitness studio, about how I keep falling for the pick-up scam at open days and super special offers with a 24-month term.

And how I - in the middle of the corona lockdown - once again have a remaining term of thirteen months.

In the meantime my studio has reopened, the steel machine park as well as the sweat-soaked room for the courses from stomach, legs, buttocks to the usual contortion courses with a meditation background.

The windows are also now open, even the sauna, in which two of my studio colleagues are currently allowed to steam at the same time.

An open society as one would like it to be.

The thirteen months can be paid off.

Only one problem: the lockdown lasted too long, the desire is gone.

The desire to waste one's time traveling there and back, the desire to permanently disinfect devices and body parts, the desire for scraps of conversation in mass changing rooms.

Now you might ask, what about fitness?

You can't go without a treadmill, ergometer, tractor, leg press, without Pilates, power yoga, Zumba, in other words: without a studio.

Meanwhile, I have a different opinion.

Since Corona you have found a lot of surprises in your own home.

For example, your own children with whom you can play.

Find the right channel

Or an old-fashioned bicycle ergometer in the basement that you once gave to your grandmother and got back immediately.

If you sit on it now, you will understand grandma.

And because it's Corona fashion and also a stock market hit, buys a Peloton high-tech bike machine with a fitness subscription.

Well, I'm not quite there yet.

But I have found something - to be honest, it was my wife - that makes you forget all the mess in the studio.

You guessed it: It's one of those Youtube fitness channels, of which there are now hundreds, so the only problem is finding the right one.

I would like to say that we have succeeded in this.

It is the channel of the Bavarian gymnastics teacher Gabi Fastner, which I would like to recommend to you if you belong to the mature, not to say older, fitness audience.

Fastner broadcasts a fitness course almost every day, always new, always different, always good.

Your archive is huge and accessible at any time.

The level of their courses is significantly higher than the studio average, where temporary lecturers often do not really give the impression that they understand what they are doing.

One can only advise them: Have a look at Gabi Fastner's!
