A former Saint-Germain star insults Lionel Messi because of Kylian Mbappe

The former star of the French national team, Chelsea clubs, Real Madrid, as well as Paris Saint-Germain, Nicolas Anelka, spoke with some irony against Argentine star Lionel Messi.

Anelka directed an insulting statement to Messi, telling him that "he is no longer a king in the team as he was in Barcelona, and that he must adapt to the new situation, in which he will have to be an assistant to the stars of the Paris Saint-Germain team."

Anelka said in statements reported by French media, including the newspaper "Le Parisien", that "Messi should be a servant of the most prominent elements of the Parisian team, the French Kylian Mbappe, and forget that he was previously (owner) of the Barcelona team."

Anelka explained: Mbappe is the real leader of the Saint-Germain attack, and Messi should only serve him.

He stressed that Mbappe has been playing for years in the French team, and he is its most prominent star, even more than the Brazilian Neymar, and that Messi must harmonize with the new situation, and not live in the past in which he was the undisputed first star in Barcelona.

Messi still has not scored any goal with Saint-Germain, but missed the last two league matches due to injury, and he may appear today at the top of Man City in the Champions League, while Mbappe scored four goals and provided the same assists in all competitions.

Anelka stressed that "it is clear that Mbappe is unhappy in Paris, and wants to fulfill his dream of playing for Real Madrid," saying that if he had played "in England or Spain in recent years, he would have achieved the Golden Ball easily."
