The Syrian Federation demands the clubs to pay late fines .. and threatens to suspend

The Syrian Football Association has demanded that seven clubs pay the fines imposed on them as a result of official reports and the outcome of the riots and lack of sportsmanship in the first fourth rounds of the Premier League.

The Syrian newspaper, Al-Baath, revealed that the total fines amount to 6.1 million Syrian pounds, distributed between the Al-Ittihad club team, which demanded a payment of 1.5 million pounds, and the same for the Fatwa and Al-Nawair teams, corresponding to half a million pounds imposed on Unity, Vanguard and Dignity, and the least of which came from the share of Al-Jaish Club, which was fined one hundred. A thousand pounds.

And she added: "The punitive measures that the Football Association can take against those who fail to pay, require suspending the club from league matches until payment is made."

And she stated: “It is difficult for the Football Association to take such a decision, despite the fact that the law established by the federation itself allows it to take a decision to suspend the clubs that are in arrears.”
