Pele congratulates Messi for breaking his record.. and apologizes for the delay

Brazilian football legend Pele congratulated Argentine star Lionel Messi, yesterday, after the latter broke the record registered in the name of the "King" for the most number of international goals in the South American continent.

The former Barcelona star, who moved this summer to Paris Saint-Germain, broke Pele's record of 77 international goals on the ninth of this month.

Pele (80 years old) attached his apology for the delay in recognizing the achievement of the little "flea" with a picture of the Argentine star, which he posted on the "Instagram" website, as Messi broke the three-time world champion's record with Brazil four days after the latter underwent surgery to remove a colon tumor.
