The People of Determination team won the gold medal at the team level, and the shooter Mohammed Al-Habsi won the bronze in the World Shotgun Shooting Championship, which was held in the Italian city of Lonato on the Concaverde turf, in a new achievement for the UAE Paralympic sports with the participation of more than 60 players from 23 countries.

The team's shooting mission of people of determination participated in the tournament with Saif Hilal Al-Humairi, Muhammad Hashel Al-Habsi, Issa Aslam Al-Zubaidi, Muhammad Al-Hamid and Maha Al-Mansoori.

The delegation was headed by Ismail Al-Maraziq, accompanied by the mission's administrator, Muhammad Al-Balushi, the team's coach, Naqish Anand, and Safia Al-Shater, accompanied by Maha Al-Dhaimi Al-Mansoori.

For his part, Secretary-General of the UAE Paralympic Committee Theban Al Muhairi said in a press statement: “I congratulate all the members of the delegation that participated in the World Shooting Championship in Italy, who honored the country and won the world gold, as well as the player Mohammed Al Habsi, who won the bronze medal.

This is a continuation of the achievements made in the past period thanks to the efforts of the players, coaches and administrators in the shooting team, as well as the great interest of our wise leadership and the continuous support that always results in ascending the podiums and bringing pride to the athletes and the Emirati people.
