Relegated Werder Bremen has suffered the next setback.

One week after the defeat in the north derby against Hamburger SV, the team of coach Markus Anfang lost to promoted SG Dynamo Dresden 0: 3 (0: 1) on Sunday.

As a result, Werder fell back to tenth place in the table and had to let Dresden, without a win three times, overtake them.

In front of 16,000 spectators, Christoph Daferner (40th / 66th minute) and Morris Schröter (75th) scored the goals for Dynamo Dresden.

In a first half with little chance, Werder were the team with significantly more possession, but without dangerous finishes. After a corner (35th) and an alleged foul by Chris Löwe on Marvin Ducksch from Bremen, referee Robert Hartmann decided against a penalty after a review with the help of the video assistant. Dynamo countered five minutes later, Ransford-Yeboah Königsdörffer flicked the ball against the crossbar and Daferner dusted off.

As a result, the picture did not change.

Werder controlled the game, Dresden scored the goal.

After another counterattack, after an unfortunate defense by Mitchell Weiser, the ball jumped again at Daferner's feet, who scored his fifth goal of the season.

Almost in return, Werder had a chance to hit the next goal, but Niclas Füllkrug's header (68th) hit the post.

Instead, Dresden struck again when Schröter was simply not attacked with his shot.

Draw in Hamburg

1. FC Nürnberg remains undefeated even after the prestigious game at Hamburger SV. At 2: 2 (1: 1) on Sunday in front of around 24,000 spectators, the Franconians even sniffed the victory in the traditional duel until the final phase, but could also be satisfied with the point win. Enrico Valentini (22nd minute / penalty kick) and Lino Tempelmann (46th) brought the “club” twice in the lead. HSV struck back twice in an exciting second division match through Robert Glatzel (34th / 80th).

In the north-south duel, Hamburg's 19-year-old debutant Mario Vuskovic took center stage early on when he stopped Nikola Dovedan with his hands on his face far from the ball. Valentini converted the penalty, which was only given after the video assistant had checked it, and HSV goalkeeper Daniel Heuer Fernandes had foreseen the corner. The Hanseatic League pushed for a balance and rewarded themselves with Glatzel. He could only cheer after the video assistant had checked a questionable offside position.

The second half got off to a turbulent start.

After a cross from Valentini, Tempelmann headed in for another Nuremberg lead.

It took Hamburg a few minutes to process the setback.

In the final phase, Nuremberg tried to save the game over time.

The Hamburg offensive urge paid off.

Glatzel was there again, who again demonstrated his headball strength after a cross from Sonny Kittel.

Hanover loses against Sandhausen

The upturn in Hannover 96 is over for the time being.

After two convincing victories against St. Pauli and Kiel, Lower Saxony lost 2-1 (0-0) against relegation candidate SV Sandhausen on Sunday and thus missed the leap into the top half of the table.

In front of 10,000 spectators Immanuel Höhn (73rd) and Daniel Keita-Ruel (78th) punished two serious defensive errors by Hannover 96 within five minutes. After a corner, Sandhausen's central defender Immanuel Höhn was completely free and used a shelf to lead. When conceding the second goal, goalkeeper Ron-Robert Zieler made a mistake outside of his own penalty area. Dominik Kaiser brought the "Reds" down to 1: 2 in the 82nd minute, with a precise and powerful shot from the back area.

Hanover was the superior team with the better chances.

The guests were particularly lucky when Sebastian Ernst only hit the post (34th) and SVS defender Arne Sicker had to clear the goal line (45th + 2).

But Sandhausen did not hide either and had a crossbar shot by Marcel Ritzmaier in the 30th minute.
