Linköping accounted for an impressive pick-up when they went from 0-3 in the middle of the second period to the 3-3 second half of the match.

The equalizer came with seven minutes left of the match through Jesper Pettersson who intercepted a return and slammed in the 3-3 goal.

The result stood out the match and Linköping thus secured the season's first points.

After a goalless extra time, the match was decided on penalties.

Only in the sixth round was it clear that Linköping is pinching the extra points.

This after Henrik Törnqvist, with a distinct penalty, netted and Leksand's Jonas Ahnelöv missed.

For table-toppers Linköping, who started the SHL season with three straight losses, it was the season's first victory.
