Putin congratulated Tardif on his election as head of the IIHF

Putin called Tardiff and congratulated him on his new position.

The President also spoke with Rene Fasel.

Fasel headed the federation from 1994 to 2021.

Earlier, Tardiff became the new president of the International Ice Hockey Federation.
