Amr Adib compares Al-Ahly to “Rabbit” .. “He should return to be a turtle”

The Egyptian media, Amr Adib, likened the Al-Ahly team to the rabbit, and advised the club’s management to dismiss the coach, South African Pitso Mosimane, and stated that the Al-Ahly team and its players were afflicted with some arrogance, “the team sees itself.”

Amr Adib said during his program “The Story” that he presents on the “mbc Egypt” screen: “Al-Ahly must stop thinking in the way of the rabbit, and return to thinking in the way of the turtle, which has patience and hard work. Rabbit .. and this will not continue."

He considered that Al-Ahly players in the current period lack the spirit of the red jersey, and advised the dismissal of South African Pitso Mosimane from taking over the technical management of the team, and said: "If I were in his place, I would offer what he would offer."

He pointed out that everyone expected Al-Ahly to win the Super Championship, except for one person, the technical director of Tala'a El-Jaish Club, Abdel Hamid Bassiouni, who stuck to his hope and exerted effort and sweat until he achieved victory.

Al-Ahly (the record holder in the number of wins in the Egyptian League) recently lost the league championship to its traditional rival, Zamalek, and also lost the Super Cup to the Vanguard of the Army, and many voices appeared from the Al-Ahly fans calling for the dismissal of coach Mosimani.
