Zaur Tedeev has been appointed acting head coach of Rostov, according to the website of the football club.

Tedeev has been working in the club system since 2019.

The year before last he was appointed the senior coach of the Rostov youth team.

Under Tedeev's leadership, in the 2020/21 and 2021/22 seasons, Rostov's youth team repeated the M-League record for the number of victorious matches in a row (13 games).

Recall that 74-year-old Yuri Semin headed Rostov in the summer after Valery Karpin left for the Russian national team.

After eight rounds of the Russian championship, the team from the banks of the Don with six points takes 14th place in the RPL standings.

Earlier, Semin commented on his resignation from the post of head coach of Rostov.
