The European Team Table Tennis Championships begin in Cluj, Romania on 28 September.

SVT broadcasts Sweden's matches from the quarter finals onwards.

Johan Ejeborg comments together with the table tennis legend Jan-Ove Waldner as a guest expert.

- I hope that the younger ones get the chance, strike and take Sweden to the European Championship final, says Jan-Ove Waldner who believes a lot in Truls Möregårdh.

The Swedish men's national team took bronze the last time the team EC was played, 2019 in France, and comes to this year's EC as second in the European ranking after Germany.

"Should win the group"

The biggest star is Mattias Falck, ranked ninth in the world and second in Europe.

- Sweden's men's team is highly seeded and has many good players.

The team should win the group and go to the quarterfinals.

The semifinals are realistic, says Jan-Ove Waldner.

Sweden's women's national team is ranked ninth in Europe and comes to the European Championships as an outsider, rather than as a medal candidate.

- The ladies do not have the seeding that the men have and find it more difficult to move on from the group game.

It's a huge bang if they go to the quarterfinals, says Waldner.

SVT broadcasts from Friday 1 October.
