PSV coach Roger Schmidt will not be able to use the slightly injured Noni Madueke in the Eredivisie game against Willem II on Saturday.

On the other hand, Ibrahim Sangaré and Mario Götze may be part of the Eindhoven selection again, although the trainer still had a reservation.

"They are both training again, but we will only determine on Saturday whether they can play," said Schmidt about Sangaré and Götze at the press conference on Friday.

"It depends on how they feel about themselves and whether they no longer have any complaints."

Schmidt has had to miss Sangaré since the 0-3 win at AZ on September 11.

In the last few weeks, the injuries of Götze and Madueke were added.

The German midfielder sustained a minor injury in the top match against Feyenoord (0-4 loss), while Madueke dropped out during the weekday round to visit Go Ahead Eagles (1-2 win).

"We don't expect him to be out for long," Schmidt continued hopefully about Madueke.

"It is a minor injury. He will not be there tomorrow anyway, but he may be back for the international match."

The duel between Willem II and PSV could be the first Eredivisie game in a full stadium in a year and a half.

Schmidt praises Willem II: 'So efficient'

Schmidt, who called the newly promoted Go Ahead Eagles "the best opponent of this Eredivisie season" last Wednesday, had praise for Willem II.

"They are so efficient this season."

"In addition, they are tactically reliable and can operate well as a whole," Schmidt complimented the current number three in the Eredivisie.

With thirteen points, the Tilburgers only have to tolerate Ajax (sixteen points) and PSV (fifteen points).

The duel in the Koning Willem II Stadium between Willem II and PSV starts on Saturday at 4.30 pm and is the first Eredivisie game with the maximum capacity in a year and a half.

The game is led by referee Kevin Blom.
