A charity golf tournament to support medical professionals responding to the new corona was held at Japan's oldest golf course in Kobe, and professional golfer Masahiro Kuramoto and others played at the same club as 100 years ago. The venue was lively.

The venue, Kobe Golf Club, located on Mt. Rokko in Kobe City, is the oldest golf course in Japan, which was established 118 years ago in 1868.

Eight professional golfers, including Masahiro Kuramoto and Naomichi Ozaki, participated in the charity golf tournament, which was held to support medical professionals in response to the new Corona, and divided into two teams, East and West, to compete against each other.

Golfers went out on the course in traditional hunting caps and knickerbockers and played in the same wooden clubs they had when the golf course was built.

Even though the club is not as far away as the current club, the venue was lively by robbing birdies.

About 1 million yen collected at this tournament will be given to medical organizations in Kobe City.

Mr. Ikuhide Shin, the chairman of the Kobe City Golf Association, who planned the tournament, said, "I thought about what I could do as a golfer in the corona, and I was able to hold this tournament with the cooperation of a professional. But I hope it will be transmitted. "
