Mohamed Ihattaren's debut for Sampdoria is even longer.

The nineteen-year-old midfielder is not part of his club's match selection for Thursday evening's home game against Napoli for unclear reasons.

Sampdoria does not say why Ihattaren is missing, but only announces that he is not available for the meeting with Napoli.

Earlier, he also missed the away game with Empoli (0-3 win).

Just under two weeks ago, Ihattaren was on the bench during the away game against Internazionale (2-2), but then he was not given playing time by coach Roberto D'Aversa.

Ihattaren made the switch from PSV to Juventus on Deadline Day, which immediately leased him to Sampdoria.

He came to Genoa without a match rhythm, because he was removed from the PSV selection at the end of July.

The attacking midfielder had recently called in sick and therefore did not go to Istanbul for the return against Galatasaray in the second qualifying round of the Champions League.

However, a photo of Ihattaren who was in France with agent Mino Raiola appeared on the internet the day before that match.

The debut of Ihattaren for Sampdoria will have to wait until next Sunday.

Then the number twelve of the Serie A visits Juventus.
