Al-Wahda and Al-Ahly youth tied without goals today in the fifth round of the ADNOC Professional League at Al Nahyan Stadium in Abu Dhabi, so Al-Annabi raised his score to 7 points, and the Dubai Knights scored 11 points.

The draw is a disappointment for both teams, as they desperately needed to win.

The two teams are moving towards repeating the scenario of last season, when they tied back and forth.

Al-Ahly youth dominated the midfield in the first 15 minutes of the match, while the Syrian Omar Khribin almost scored the first goal of Al-Wahda with a powerful shot that passed near the post, and Brazilian Carlos Eduardo responded by wasting an opportunity from inside the penalty area and hit the ball over the crossbar.

In the 32nd minute, Al-Wahda received a penalty kick after a collision occurred between Mahmoud Khamis and Ahmed Abdullah Jamil, before referee Ammar Al-Junaibi decided to cancel the violation after using video technology, while Al-Wahda goalkeeper Mohammed Al-Shamsi starred in addressing a dangerous opportunity from the Uzbek Aziz Ganyev from a direct free kick. And then again by blocking a shot from Mohamed Gomaa Pele in the first minute of overtime.

On the other hand, the performance of the two teams declined in the second half, and Al-Ahly youth became active in the last ten minutes, as Mahdi Qaidi missed a dangerous opportunity from inside the penalty area and hit the ball near the post (82), to end the match in a draw without goals.
