Mick Schumacher is also driving for the US racing team Haas in his second Formula 1 season.
As the Americans announced on Thursday, the 22-year-old will receive a contract for the year 2022. Further details of the cooperation have not been announced.
Schumacher has been driving in the motorsport premier class since this year and has recommended himself for at least one more season in the defeated car, even without championship points.
The 22-year-old Russian Nikita Masepin remains the teammate of the son of record world champion Michael Schumacher.

I am sure that I will be able to bring all of the experience I have gained into the coming year, ”said Schumacher in a press release.
Schumacher, who belongs to Ferrari's junior academy, entered Formula 1 as the champion of the most important junior racing series Formula 2. His best result so far is a twelfth place in the Hungarian Grand Prix.
In his weak car he has little chance of good results so far and only drives at the bottom of the field.
