In the Olympic final, she missed the decisive penalty kick, but tonight the victory saw the ball go in goal.

The Swedish goal chances hailed in the first half and it was a game against a goal.

But despite that, Sweden had a hard time getting the ball over the goal line.

In the 40th minute, it came loose for Sweden, Filippa Angeldal cut to and the Georgia goalkeeper was without a chance.

In overtime, Magdalena Eriksson then heeled in 2-0 to Sweden.

A lead that Sweden took with them at the break but which could have been significantly bigger with a shot statistic of 18-0.

Victory's punishment

The second half was not too different from the first but Sweden continued to dominate the match.

They set a high ball tempo which resulted in additional dangerous situations.

In the 84th minute, Magdalena Eriksson is pulled down in the penalty area and the referee blows a penalty to Sweden.

Then Caroline Seger steps up to the penalty spot, seconds later it is 3-0 to Sweden.

- There is a lot of symbolism in this punishment, said SVT's commentator Chris Härenstam when Seger struck the punishment.

4-0 stood and when the referee blew off, Sweden could state that they won their fourth World Cup qualifier in a row.

They have also kept a clean sheet in all four matches.
