Next Friday, the Jiu-Jitsu Arena in Zayed Sports City in Abu Dhabi will host the fifth and final round of the Mother of the Nation Jiu-Jitsu Championship, with the wide participation of professional female players from all clubs and academies in the country.

The final round of the championship will witness competitions in three categories: women (under 16 years old), young women (under 18 years old), and adults (over 18 years old). Al Wahda, Al Ain, Al Jazira and Sharjah martial sports clubs and the Palms 777 Academy have ample chances of ascending to the podium.

For his part, Director of the Technical Department of the Jiu-Jitsu Federation Mubarak Al-Menhali confirmed that the jiu-jitsu community in the country will recognize the champion of the first edition of the Mother of the Nation Championship in its new form, as all clubs and academies are keen to receive the honor of this achievement in return for the importance and symbolism of this tournament on local arena.

Al-Menhali added in a press statement: "The Mother of the Nation Championship is the main tributary of the women's national team, and it has produced many Emirati talents that have reached the world, and their name has become synonymous with the most prominent international tournaments, and among these names are Balqis Al Hashemi, Wadima Al Yafei, Maryam Al Ameri, and Hamda Al Shukaili, And other players who have a bright future ahead in this sport.”

The Emirates Jiu-Jitsu Federation announced the allocation of a financial prize of 690,000 dirhams to the winners of the first places in the tournament, at 260,000 dirhams for the first three places in the adult category, 230,000 dirhams for the first three places in the young women’s category, and 200,000 dirhams for the first three places in the female category. .

In the under-16 category, Al Wahda Club leads with 6,990 points, followed by Palms Sports Academy with 6,200 points, and Al Jazira Club with 4,340 points.

In the under-18 category, Al Ain Club leads with 8100 points, followed by Al Wahda Club with 6550 points, and Sharjah Self-Defense Sports with 3,780 points.

Regarding the adult category, Al Wahda is in the lead with 9750 points, ahead of Al Ain with 5410 points, and Palms Sports 3280 points.
