The Saudi Al-Ahly Club made an official decision to terminate the contract of the Brazilian player Paulinho by mutual consent, after only 58 days during which he played five matches in the Mohammed bin Salman Professional League.

The club said in an official statement that: "The Al-Ahly club's management, headed by Majid Al-Nafie, completed the procedures for terminating the contract of the Brazilian first team professional Paulinho by mutual consent."

He continued, "The termination of the contract with Paulinho comes due to the emergency conditions that he spoke with the club's management recently, which was reflected on his levels on the field technically and mentally during the past rounds, expressing his inability to provide the desired addition to the team."

For its part, Al-Ahly club management extended its sincere thanks and appreciation to Paulinho for the short period he spent with the first football team, wishing him success in his next station.
