In the second half, Sävehof had a strong pick-up, and the closest was two balls from the Vipers.
But despite the promotion and a big-playing Wilma Kroon Andersson in the Sävehof goal (25.71 in save percentage), they did not get any closer than that to the big favorite.
Vipers, who fell in the premiere against Hungarian Györ, won 34-25.
32-year-old Gulldén, who joined the club before the season, got sparse playing time and became goalless against his old teammates.
