Being a cross-country skier is tough and in recent times the discussion about a form of burnout has flared up.

Especially since Frida Karlsson, among other things, had to take a timeout when she did not meet the national team's health requirements.

- As always, one of our biggest challenges is to stay on the right side of the border.

We want so much all the time and it is not easy to know where your limit goes, so it can be that you fall over in between, she says.

And for her own part, Ebba Andersson has found the right one.

- This year I have found an optimal way forward and it feels very positive.

It is about having balance in what I do and gain continuity.

Jagar Johaug

Norwegian Therese Johaug is the skier that everyone chases.

She has dominated the sport in superior style in recent years.

Now Andersson hopes to catch up.

- It is a challenge but somewhere it is about starting from one's own ability.

I see it myself as something inspiring to take that lead.

I have to believe it, then we'll see when you get on the starting line.

But faith can always be done.

Bets on the Tour de Ski

Charlotte Kalla is one of the skiers who gives up this year's Tour de Ski.

An issue that has been relevant to several longitude stars.

For Ebba Andersson, the Tour de Ski is a good preparation for what is to come.

- Tour de Ski is included in my ground plan.

It is absolutely relevant to me.

It is a good preparation for the Olympics.

As it is now, I will not prioritize it away, says Ebba Andersson.

Competing in the long distance races is also relevant.

- If the chance arises and it fits in, I will gladly take the chance, it was great fun to compete last time.
