It was a fast-paced first half where both teams were good in the attacking game, but clearly worse defensively.

IFK Ystad stood up surprisingly well and their Brazilian new acquisition Paulo Vinicius impressed with his agility.

At one stage, visiting Ystad led with four balls, but at half time Sävehof had turned and then led 19-18.

- A lot happens in the half.

We are a bit careless backwards and do it better forwards, says the home team's Olle Ek.

"The judges are cash"

Even in the second half, a lot revolved around Vinicius.

At position 23-22 to Sävehof, he went on his second expulsion.

It looked wrong and made the Brazilian go wild.

- You can shit in the judges, they are cash.

But there is not much more to say about it, a Ystad leader was heard saying during a timeout with just under a quarter of an hour left to play.

Later in the match, Vinicius also got his third suspension and thus it was finished.

The 23-year-old went straight into the shower.

Sävehof was slightly better in the second half and eventually won 34-30.

- Of course it's sour.

I think we give ourselves the chance.

But of course there will be some irritation as well, so we lose some focus, says Ystad's Filip Långh.

The match's best goal scorers were Olle Ek and IFK Ystad's Linus Fernebrand who scored six hits each.

The victory was the reigning champion's first of the season after they crossed against Kristianstad in the premiere.
