American surfing star Carissa Moore today took home the victory in the overall world cup, at Lower Trestles San Clemente, California. Moore can now celebrate that she has taken a total of five World Cup victories in her career. The victory ended an incredible season for 29-year-old Moore, where she won the first Olympic gold ever awarded in surfing.
It was a tough decision for reigning cup champion Moore against Tatiana Weston-Webb in the three set finals.
But with a 2-1 result, she defended the title and once again had to step to the top of the podium.
