Sébastien Haller will go down in the books as the first player ever to score four goals for a Dutch club in the Champions League.

The Ivorian international of Ajax made the 0-1, 0-2, 1-4 and 1-5 against Sporting CP on Wednesday in Lisbon.

The game started at 9 p.m. and is not over yet.

With Marco van Basten in 1992 against IFK Göteborg, there is a Dutch player who scored four times in a Champions League match, but he did so in the service of AC Milan.

Like Haller, that was his debut in the ball of millions.

There are two players who once scored five times in a Champions League match.

These are Shakhtar Donetsk striker Luiz Adriano in 2014 against BATE Borisov and Lionel Messi in 2012 on behalf of FC Barcelona against Bayer Leverkusen.
