The national team will qualify for the next championship, WC 2023, after the silver in the Olympics.

And team captain Caroline Seger tries to move on from the penalty she shot over to the situation where she had the opportunity to decide the Olympic final.

Even though it has now been a month, she is still processing the eleven-meter miss that cost the gold.

- It will be a form of grief.

I have experienced championships before where you have left, then you have more quickly accepted and jumped on the train again.

But this was another type of grief, which I had never experienced before.

It happened in such an enormously brutal way, and the sport showed itself from its absolute worst side, says Caroline Seger.

The 36-year-old gets help from friends, as well as family, as well as the women's national team's psychologist Rasmus Wallin Tornberg.

- You have had to process it and talk a lot.

And I'm an open minded person who does not shut up my emotions.

It's something I have to live with and accept, that these pictures pop up from time to time.

The qualifiers for the WC 2023 in New Zealand / Australia begin on Friday, Sweden will then meet Slovakia in Bratislava.
