Because of $ 2 million.. Disputes between Al-Ahly and Ali Maaloul over the renewal of the contract

Attempts by the management of the Egyptian Al-Ahly Club to extend the contract of Tunisian player Ali Maaloul failed, due to disagreements over the financial compensation, according to what sources confirmed to "Emirates Today".

The sources confirmed that Al-Ahly offered Maaloul to extend his contract for two seasons, for one million and 250 thousand dollars in the first season, and an increase of 100 thousand dollars in the second season.

The sources indicated that: "Ali Maaloul and his agent, rejected the offer and insisted that the contract period be for three seasons and for two million dollars for each season."

Al-Ahly officials adhere to the offer made by the contracting manager, Amir Tawfiq, to the player and his agent, which caused the cancellation of the negotiation session that was scheduled for the day before yesterday.
