The French football team must deal with the infirmary.

The coach Corinne Deacon recorded the forfeit on injury of the Bordelaises Eve Périsset (ankle) and Ella Palis (knee) on Monday, on the first day of the back-to-school rally of the Bleues at Clairefontaine.

Touched to a knee last week in the Champions League play-offs, midfielder Ella Palis remains "at the disposal" of Bordeaux during the international window, announced the French Football Federation, "after an exchange between the two medical staff".

As for the right side Eve Périsset, "injured in the right ankle", she came to Clairefontaine-en-Yvelines, but his package was recorded "after an additional examination at the medical center", according to the FFF.

More than five backgrounds

The former Parisian is replaced numerically by the Rémoise Océane Deslandes, already called in April following several cases of withdrawal, but who had no playing time against England (3-1) and the United States (2-0 loss). With the package of Palis, the tricolor group has only five midfielders with the Bordelaise Charlotte Bilbault, the Parisians Grace Geyoro and Léa Khelifi, Kenza Dali of Everton and Sandie Toletti of Levante.

The France team is launching its qualifying campaign for the 2023 World Cup with trips to Greece and Slovenia on September 17 and 21, kicking off a season that will end with Euro-2022 in England.

The back-to-school list was marked by the absence of Amandine Henry and Eugénie Le Sommer, the French captain at the 2019 World Cup and the top scorer in the history of the Bleues who was not selected by the coach.
