The newspaper "Atribona" ​​stated that Santos received offers from the Emirates League to contract with Marinho, but the club's management did not discuss these offers, noting that the Brazilian player expressed his displeasure at not allowing him to leave.

She indicated that Marinho is betting on the continued opening of the registration door in the UAE League, indicating that the player may be sold in the coming days, especially since the summer transfer market in the Emirates will end on October 4 next.

It is noteworthy that Marinho, 31, plays in the attack line and is good at playing in the right wing position, and his contract with Santos extends until December 31, 2022, as he began his career in the youth team of Alagoano Club before joining the youth team in Santos in 2007, and the Brazilian player went through several experiences in Brazil, most notably with Fluminense, Internacional and Cruzeiro, while he had one professional experience outside Brazil, playing for China's Changchun in the 2017-2018 season before moving to Brazilian Gremio and then returning to Santos in May 2019.
