The team captain, Magdalena Eriksson, started in Chelsea.

In visiting Everton, however, we saw three Swedish starting players: Defender Nathalie Björn, young midfield talent Hanna Bennison and striker, Anna Anvegård.

All three have been recruited to Everton from Rosengård for this season.

These were two teams that had lost their league premieres last weekend.

Chelsea fell in a goalless derby against Arsenal by 2-3, while Everton also lost a goalless match against Manchester City - but there was only one team for the goals in a match that ended 0-4.

Björn removed

In Sunday's meeting, it was Chelsea who were leading the game initially and who also got off to a good start in terms of goals.

Francesca Kirby came in with the ball from the left towards the penalty area, shot Nathalie Björn away and with a high finish she got the ball to go through a defending head and one of the posts before it went into the net until 1-0.

Fair Chelsea lead at the break with the match's only full hit against an Everton that so far lacked shots on goal.

Surreal invitation

Directly in the second half, Chelsea would expand their lead - but this without having to make an effort.

Samantha Kerr was released with a completely open goal by Everton's defender, Megan Finnigan.

Finnigan got a pass to start the game by his goalkeeper.

She would then play the ball back when she got a pressing Kerr against her.

Finnigan's pass became far too loose and instead the Chelsea striker was able to break and roll the ball into the open goal.

Big numbers again

With ten minutes of regular time left, Hanna Bennison was substituted.

Before that, Chelsea had gone up to a 4-0 lead.

Sam Kerr scored her second goal of the match before Bethany England - two minutes after she was substituted - set up the final score.
