The judo team launches today its participation in the Arab Championship in Cairo

The Arab Judo Championship for teams and clubs for the categories of juniors, youth, buds and the blind, for boys and girls, kicked off the day before yesterday, in the indoor halls complex at Cairo International Stadium, and will continue until the 16th of this month, with the participation of the UAE national team, the Fujairah martial arts team, and teams from nine Arab countries, with a total number of players. And players up to 600 players.

The first appearance of the players of the UAE national team and Al-Fujairah club will be at the junior level today, in light of the draw for that category, which took place last Thursday, and witnessed the participation of 32 clubs from Egypt.

The team’s mission arrived in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, the day before yesterday, headed by Mohamed Jassem Al-Sajwany, Assistant Secretary, and with him were the accompanying international referee Ahmed Suleiman Al-Balushi, the technical director of the administrative federation Shaaban Al-Sayed, the Japanese coach Ashid Koki, and eight players: Mana’ Juma’a. Murad, Rashid Mohammed Sharif, Mansour Juma Abdul Rahman (Sharjah Sports Club), Hamid Saeed Al Shamsi, Zayed Faisal Al Naqbi (Kalba Federation), Hamad Saleh Al Hashemi, Mayed Rashid Al Naqbi (Khorfakkan), and Saif Salem Al Hammadi (Fujairah Martial Arts).
