Swedish national team player Isaac Kiese Thelin is bought by Baniyas FC from the United Arab Emirates, which finished in second place last season.
The Swedish striker leaves Anderlecht after 4.5 years at the club, where he was loaned to the German top club Bayer Leverkusen and won the Swedish Championship gold with Malmö FF.
Kiese Thelin landed in the capital Abu Dhabi last night with his agent Miro Jaganjac and is currently undergoing the mandatory medical examination before being presented later in the afternoon.
Kiese Thelin played as late as Wednesday for the Swedish national team against Greece and scored goals in the international match before against Uzbekistan.
