Saeed Al Muhairi gifted the UAE the title of the World Cup for Youth Endurance

The UAE riders scored a new achievement for the country’s sport after winning the World Championship for Youth and Juniors, which was hosted by the Netherlands, so that our riders continue to lead and excel in the world of endurance racing after preserving the World Cup title and providing the team with a distinguished participation under the auspices of Emirates Airlines.

The jockey Saeed Salem Ateeq Al Muhairi entered history from its widest doors after winning for the third time in a row the title of the race that was held in Ermelo for a distance of 120 km, to guide the UAE first place after his achievement on horseback "Hala", recording a time of 5.09.10 hours, His colleague, jockey Abdullah Ali Muhammad Al-Amri, won second place and runner-up in his first participation in the World Cup, riding "Tunque de Po Basel", recording a time of 5.09.19 hours. The Spanish jockey Badia Marfa came in third place on the "Zyryab" horse, recording a time of 5.09.19 hours. 5.0925 hours.

The race was witnessed by Dr. Ghanem Al-Hajri, Secretary-General of the Equestrian Federation in the Emirates, in the presence of Major General Expert Mohammed Issa Al-Adab, Managing Director of the UAE Team Mission, and a number of officials from the International Equestrian Federation and the Netherlands Equestrian Federation.

About 75 jockeys representing 22 countries participated in the race, and the championship was held under the supervision of the International Equestrian Federation. Seven judges, including our international referee Hamad Al Shamsi, ran the competitions, who represented the UAE, Arabs and Asia in the judging process for the championship.

Today, the coronation ceremonies will take place in the village of Al Qudra in Ermelo, which hosted the championship activities. Today, on the sidelines of the event, the European Championship for a distance of 160 km will be held.
