The SHL season begins on Saturday.

Following yesterday's announcement that the spectator ceiling will be removed on September 29, some clubs are trying to negotiate new playing dates for certain home matches until then.

But the dialogue is still ongoing, says SHL's CEO Jenny Silfverstrand.

- We will have a discharge on September 11 exactly as planned.

We have a dialogue with the clubs about possibly moving a few matches, but nothing is clear yet.

The playing days that are set until September 29 will be played as it is.

- A few individual matches can be moved, but we will play on the days where the schedule is today, says Silfverstrand.

How many matches are involved?

- I can not answer that.

It is a dialogue that is going on with the clubs now.

There should be an opportunity to move as well, and find the right days so it is still a sustainable schedule in the future.

When will this be ready?

- It is a process that must go fairly fast.

I hope we have a solution tomorrow or the day after.

Four home games

One club that is "hit" harder than others is Oskarshamn, which has four home games before 29 September.

- We have a slightly unfortunate schedule before the restrictions are released.

We are investigating the possibilities of moving a match, but we are not quite in the goal yet.

We have to agree with the opposing team as well, says Oskarshamn's club manager Martin Åkerberg to SVT Sport.

So far, Åkerberg and Oskarshamn have heard about the season's second home game.

- We have asked the question to Malmö, but they were quite icy cold and did not want to move that match.

We have paused the issue internally now so we have to take new steps tomorrow, he says and continues:

- Now that they do not want to, we have to see if we should ask the question to someone else or if we are satisfied.

We have not decided yet.

"Do not buy it"

Malmö Redhawks club manager, Patrik Sylvegård, tells Expressen that they will not try to move any matches for their own part, and that no SHL club has budgeted for full stands.

An argument Martin Åkerberg questions.

- He says in the next breath that he will move a match that clashes with Malmö's football.

I guess it's the same thing, I think.

I'm not buying it.

- We can buy that we drew the lottery this year, but we may try to move another match. It is Rögle or Frölunda that is relevant in such cases, says Åkerberg.
