It was last week that 30-year-old Daniel Henderson crashed badly when he drove for his all-Swedish club Team Rapid.

Henderson flew over the air fence, landed hard and was immediately taken care of by medical personnel.

He was then taken to the hospital in Eskilstuna.

Shortly afterwards, he was moved to Karolinska Hospital in Solna.

There it could be stated that Daniel Henderson had a punctured lung, fractures on all twelve ribs on the right side and a fracture in the lumbar spine.

"Not a shred of energy"

Now, however, he is back in Eskilstuna at Mälar Hospital, and yesterday the speedway driver took his first steps since the accident.

The ribs that are off are broken at the back of the shoulder blade.

Has actually been up and walking for the first time today with a walker.

Exceeded expectations, but it hurts to sit up in bed for the broken ribs and the punctured lung.

That pain is 15!

On a scale of 1-10… ”, he wrote on his Facebook page yesterday.

Now a several-month-long rehab awaits Rospiggarnas Henderson.

“I lie and half-sleep all day, there is not a shred of energy left!

Rehab says they are about three months old ", he continues.
