The choice of the mascot was made by the fans who voted on the official website of the tournament, according to the press service of the All-Russian Volleyball Federation (VFV).

The name of the mascot will be announced later.

The men's volleyball world championship will be held in ten cities of Russia.

The matches will be hosted by Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kaliningrad, Yaroslavl, Kazan, Ufa, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Krasnoyarsk and Kemerovo.

The competition will run from August 26 to September 11, 2022.

Earlier, the Russians Vladislav Panchenko and Ivan Chuprinov won the final of the European Men's Beach Volleyball Championship among players under 18.
