Atsunori Inaba, who headed the Japan National Baseball Team for the Tokyo Olympics, visited Senichi Hoshino's memorial monument in Aichi Prefecture and reported that he had won the gold medal to his teacher who was the coach at the 2008 Beijing Games.

Director Inaba visited Zuienji Temple in Ama City, Aichi Prefecture on the 6th.

At Zuienji, there is a memorial monument that contains a part of the remains of Senichi Hoshino, who was the director of three professional baseball teams and led the Japanese national team at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

Director Inaba visited the memorial monument in July before the Tokyo Olympics and swore a gold medal to his teacher, Mr. Hoshino, who fought with him as a player at the Beijing tournament, which ended in 4th place.

After burning incense in front of the memorial monument, Director Inaba joined hands and reported to Mr. Hoshino that he had won the gold medal.

After that, Director Inaba, who was interviewed by the press, said, "I'm glad that we all united and won the gold medal at our own country, saying,'I will return the debt of Beijing in Tokyo.'" Thank you for watching. I got the gold medal. ”I was able to make a good report. Mr. Hoshino, who doesn't say much, thinks he is pleased that he has done well.”
