In the final of the Tokyo Para-Athletics 100-meter prosthesis class for women, 22-year-old Tomomi Usawa, who participated for the first time, finished 8th with a time of 16 seconds 48 seconds.

Usawa lost his left leg due to a disease called osteosarcoma when he was in the fifth grade of elementary school.



After enrolling in Nippon Sport Science University, which established a track and field club specializing in para-athletes, he began full-scale track and field, and at this tournament he won the 4th place in the long jump prosthesis class.



The podium was dominated by Italian players, and the gold medal was Ambra Sabatini, who set a world record of 14:11.
