Pictures from AC Milan's Twitter account indicate that Zlatan Ibrahimovic is approaching games.
He participated in Wednesday's training with the team and judging by the pictures, he looks good physically.
According to Sky Sport Italia, an internal match was also played at the Milanello training facility.
Ibrahimovic then struck with two goals and an assist immediately when he was back in match-like play.
The national team has matches in October
It remains to be seen if Ibrahimovic is back in Milan's match squad when the team meets Lazio in the league on September 12, and if he is ready to be selected for the Swedish national team's matches in October.
It was in a match against Juventus in the final stages of last season that Ibrahimovic suffered a knee injury, which among other things prevented the Swede from participating in the European Championship play-offs.
In March, the star had made a comeback in the national team but could not play in this summer's championship.
When Janne Andersson last week took out the national team squad for the matches in the World Cup qualifiers, Ibrahimovic was not present.
