In her fifth and final distance during the games, 100 meters backstroke, the Swede swam into the ninth best time in the qualifiers.

She was 1.6 seconds from pinching the eighth and final final place.

Lindberg finished fourth in his trial race and looked to have a chance at a final place, but the subsequent trial race was faster and five swimmers got past Lindberg.

She has competed in all five distances in the Paralympics and there were a total of three final places.

In addition to the medley fifth place, Lindberg also finished fifth in the 200 meter freestyle.

In the 100 meter breaststroke, she finished eighth in the final, while she missed the final in the 100 meter butterfly.

Lindberg has never won a medal at the Paralympics, but in the WC and EC it has gone better.

Lindberg won two World Cup golds four years ago and this spring she took home four medals at the European Championships in Portugal.
