Jonas Jerebko has not played basketball since he competed in the Swedish national team during the European Championship elections in February.

The basketball star has not lacked a tender, but has become a father for the third time and has therefore deliberately been low on games and instead invested in fitness training at home and spent time with the family.

Revenge sucks

34-year-old Jonas Jerebko wrote basketball history as the first Swede to be recruited to the NBA.

In 2009, he made his Detroit Pistons debut, after which he played for the Boston Celtic, Utah Jazz and Golden State Warriors.

And it was precisely in the Oakland team that he managed to reach a historic NBA final.

Golden State was the reigning champion and favorite for another title, but some heavy injuries in the team, including superstar Kevin Durant, made the Toronto Reports too difficult.

Jerebko's contract with the club then expired and the Swede ended up in the Russian team BK Chimki, a contract that lasted for two seasons, before it was broken during a certain conflict.

Jerebko has made no secret of his desire to return to the NBA for a chance for revenge.

Nothing clear

Which club or clubs it is about is so far nothing he wants to talk about but Jerebko is looking forward to a continuation in the world's best basketball

- Yes, it feels really exciting and it will be fun.

Which clubs are relevant?

- There's nothing I want to tell you right now. The only thing I can say is that my family and I are going over to the United States on Friday.
