Immediately after the race was over, a player from Cabo Verde, an island nation in the Atlantic Ocean who participated in a 200-meter track and field girl at the Tokyo Paralympics and a visually impaired class, suddenly received a proposal from a male companion.

The proposal was made by Keula Nidreia Pereira Semed, a 32-year-old from Cape Verde, an island nation in the Atlantic Ocean in western Africa.

On the 2nd, Pereira Semedo participated in four qualifying groups for the 200-meter track and field women's visually impaired class held at the National Stadium, finishing in 4th place at 33.04.

Immediately after that, 30-year-old Manuel Antonio Basda Beiga, who served as a companion, suddenly ran away from the lane, leaving one Pereira Semedo behind.

Bass Daveiga, who returned shortly after the players and his companions who ran together, took the hand of Pereira Semedo and proposed with his knees up.

Then, when he took out the ring from the small box he had and put it on the ring finger of Pereira Semedo's left hand, a blessing applause and cheers occurred from the stadium, and the two were hugging each other strongly.
