Takayuki Suzuki won the silver medal with a time of 2: 55.15 in the men's 200m freestyle men's motor dysfunction class.

Suzuki is the fourth medal winner in this tournament, following the men's 100m freestyle gold medal, the men's 50m breaststroke and the men's 150m individual medley bronze medal.



In the men's 200m individual medley visually impaired class, Uchu Tomita, who participated for the first time, won the bronze medal with a time of 2: 28.44, which set a personal best of nearly 1 second.

Tomita is the second medal winner in this tournament, following the 400-meter freestyle silver medal.

Keiichi Kimura, who participated in four consecutive tournaments in this event, also advanced to the final and finished fifth.
