The former Al-Nasr player and national team, Khaled Ismail, confirmed that the dean will not compete for the league title this season, pointing out that there is a major technical defect, not an administrative one, related to the defensive system of the team and the parties, which appeared in the first two rounds of the tournament.

Al-Nasr had suffered a severe loss at the beginning of his career in the league championship against Ajman with three clean points, before returning and winning over Al-Uruba by five, but this would not justify the first loss in front of the public, who showed his sadness for the team after a strong preparation period that the players fought in Spain. After the Al-Nasr and Al-Uruba match, which ended with the victory of Al-Nasr, Khaled Ismail told «Emirates Today»: "The team suffers greatly on the defensive side and the parties, there are technical errors, not administrative, and it is difficult to judge the team in the first two matches, but there are many things that indicate that The team will not be a competitor for the championship this year, the most important of which is the team’s defensive system, which appeared poorly.”

Khaled Ismail added about the reason for neglecting the player Mahmoud Khamis who was transferred to Al-Wahda: “I do not know what is the reason for the transfer of Mahmoud Khamis or the absence of Muhammad Ayed, or any other player, we only judge the technical performance, and during the two matches he does not show a team capable of competing for the title League.”

Khaled Ismail rejected the attack method against the current board of directors, and said: “For the first time I have been in the club in seven years, and I refuse to have former board members who criticize the work of the current administration, and this is not the appropriate time for criticism.”
