Ajayi sends an unexpected shock to Al-Ahly of Egypt

Egyptian media reported that the Nigerian player Junior Ajayi rejected all attempts made by the Egyptian Al-Ahly administration to terminate his contract by mutual consent.

The Seventh Day newspaper indicated that South African coach Pitso Musimani expressed his unwillingness for Ajayi to continue next season with Al-Ahly, noting that the Nigerian player shocked the Al-Ahly administration by requiring him to leave for free.

And she added, "The biggest shock is that Ajayi welcomed the move to the ranks of Zamalek after Al-Abyad entered into negotiations with the player as soon as the club learned that Al-Ahly decided to dispense with his services."
